Can I still move house in lockdown?
There are many questions regarding the property market as the new restrictions role in on Thursday 5th November, 2020 in England. With sellers, buyers, landlords and tenants unsure on where they stand, below is a few of our most asked questions regarding moving house in lockdown.
Are Estate Agents staying open in lockdown?
Estate Agents in England can remain open and operate abiding to the government guidelines.
Can I move house in lockdown?
The government has recognised the importance to keep the property market moving. So, yes, you can still move house when the new lockdown restrictions come into force on Thursday 5th November, 2020.
Can I still view houses during lockdown?
If businesses and clients abide to the guidelines, property viewings can still take place in England. This must be by appointment only.
Can I move rented accommodation in lockdown?
Yes. The rules are the same for rental properties as for sales.
